Uptime Kuma

Self-hosted status & uptime monitoring (louislam/uptime-kuma). Runs as a single container with a persistent volume for its embedded SQLite DB — no external services needed. Bind a domain to it and you have a public status page in two clicks.

Notes

Data persists at /var/lib/obacht/uptime-kuma/<instance>/data on the device; remove the instance and that directory will be left behind so you can re-attach without losing history.

How to self-host Uptime Kuma

01

Connect a device: a Raspberry Pi, a Linux machine, or an Apple silicon Mac.

02

Click install in the dashboard. The template is signed; your device verifies the signature before anything runs.

03

Optionally attach your own domain. HTTPS certificate included, no port forwarding.

Run it on your own hardware.

Your data stays on your device. obacht handles the tunnel, SSL, and domain.
