Live-stream a camera attached to your Raspberry Pi to a web address you choose. obacht downloads the pinned, checksum-verified MediaMTX release into its own managed directory and runs it as a hardened host service (it needs direct camera access, which a container cannot have). Pick the detected camera, a resolution and a bitrate, attach a domain under Hosting, and the picture is reachable from anywhere as a low-latency HLS stream.
Notes
Raspberry Pi only, and it needs Power Mode unlocked (the stream runs on the host, outside the container sandbox). The camera is detected automatically — connect the CSI ribbon camera before installing.
Privacy note: the stream is reachable by anyone who knows the web address. Keep the address private, or put a reverse-proxy password in front of it. Bandwidth note: every remote viewer's video travels through obacht's relay and counts toward the device's traffic — keep the bitrate modest for multiple viewers.
